Supportiback® Comfort Therapy Donut Cushion - Pain relieving Hemorrhoid Pillow, Prostate Cushion, Post Natal Cushion and Medical Pressure Cushion for post-surgery comfort and care
- NOT YOUR GRANNY'S RING CUSHION: Unlike traditional flat-surfaced donut cushions, this ergonomically designed donut seat cushion has three pressure-relieving contours - two at the front for your legs, and one at the back for your tailbone - so you can sit comfortably for longer, without pain. And as a hemorrhoid cushion it just makes perfect sense.
- RELIEVE PRESSURE WHEREVER YOU SIT: The contours promote better weight distribution, blood circulation, posture and alignment no matter where you use it. Use your donut pillow on any chair at home or at work, in the car, on the bus, train or plane, at the movies, in your wheelchair? anywhere you need to sit comfortably. And the ANTI-SLIP BOTTOM on our donut cushions ensure your pillow always stays put!
- STAYS COOL & COMFORTABLE ALL DAY: Premium heat-dissipating foam holds its not-too-firm, not-too-soft shape even after many hours of heavy use. And since it won't retain heat like many other memory foam pressure cushions, you'll stay cool and sweat-free.
- COMPACT, LIGHT & WASHABLE: At about one pound, this ring donut cushion is small and lightweight enough to bring with you wherever you need it - and when you don't, it's compact enough to store easily. Want to freshen it up? Simply remove the plush velour cover from your medical donut cushion and pop it in the wash.

Question: Does this work for sitting on the couch or just for hard chairs?
Answer: It’s definitely amazing for harder chairs where you need to take pressure off your coccyx, but my husband uses it in his cushioned chair too and says it works just the same. I’d think if your cushions are really cushiony and sunk in it would tilt a little, but it’s easy enough to readjust.
Question: Where do your sit bones go, in the opening or on the cushion?
Answer: You sit with your thighs fitting into the two matching smooth 'valleys' cut into the front of the cushion (you can see this from the picture), with your bottom (effectively the base of your spine) over the single central v-shaped cutaway section at the back. This means you are sitting quite well back on the cushion, which I find not only gives the spine the support it needs but also the opening helps to eases discomfort by relieving pressure. I do hope this is helpful.
Question: Are my legs gonna go numb like with the inflatable cushions?
Answer: It’s contoured with areas to fit your legs, which the inflatable ones don’t have. It helps keep your legs comfortable and helps you not transfer pressure on them. I’ve never had an issue with this pillow hurting my legs at all.
Question: can you use it in bed
Answer: Could be used to sit upright in bed, but not suitable when reclining or lying in bed. Cushion is intended for use on a chair in normal siting position. It is quite firm to sit upon and I find it comfortable and helpful used on a dining chair. I find it to be better than blow up cushions and so called memory foam cushions that I have had and discarded in the past.
Question: Has anyone used it successfully sitting for many hours with a perianal fistula? Thanks!
Answer: I have had two spinal operation and find this cushion very easy to sit on for long times
